Mohamed & Jameran Haniff Memorial Fund
As the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
“When a person dies, all their deeds end except three: a continuing charity, beneficial knowledge, and a child who prays for them.” (Muslim)
Through this fund, the Haniff family's generosity continues to benefit countless individuals, serving as a means of perpetual blessings and a testament to their deep-rooted values of compassion, faith, and philanthropy. Over the years, the family has remained steadfast supporters of the Olive Tree Foundation, with other members also initiating endowment funds to support meaningful causes.
With the passing of Ahmad Fareed Haniff on October 21, 2024, the Olive Tree Foundation extends its deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. Ahmad Fareed Haniff, the son of Mohamed Yasin and Jameran Haniff, was a dedicated father, brother, and community leader. His life was a reflection of service and devotion to both his family and his faith.
May Allah forgive his sins, accept his good deeds, and grant him Jannat al-Firdaws. May this fund continue to be a source of everlasting benefit for him, his parents, and all who have contributed to its noble cause.
We invite you to support the Mohamed & Jameran Haniff Memorial Fund and help sustain its mission of giving, ensuring that its impact endures for generations to come.
The Mohamed & Jameran Haniff Memorial Fund was established as an enduring sadaqa jariyah (ongoing charity) to honor the lives and legacy of Mohamed Yasin and Jameran Haniff. This endowment fund was created by their children, including Ahmad Fareed Haniff, to continue the reward of charity on behalf of their beloved parents.
The fund was among the first endowments established under the Olive Tree Foundation on May 23, 2005, reflecting the Haniff family's dedication to community service and their commitment to fostering sustainable charitable initiatives.
